I know broad themes haven't been very popular here at daily scribbles, but week 13 only comes around once, so I thought I'd take it .

13 being an unlucky number, at least in Western cultures,  and the number of choice for a string of horror movies, this week's topic deals with either good luck or bad luck!

And if neither of those works... um... the backup theme is scary movies! Happy scribbling  .

XD Lucky!?

This one is a bit messy, but I left it like that not only because I have other things I need to move onto quickly, but also because I want to share how I'm going about things now lately! I take a light blue color and "bubble" things out first, and somehow all the guidelines really help me out!

This is an unlucky situation turned super-lucky!

Aw... what a lucky guy! She's pretty and helpful. Very cute comic, Debs. Your new way of blocking out scenes works really well. I'd like to do that in photoshop, but photoshop is a beast. Thank you for the drawing! We're all looking forward to your next big thing  .

Yay for manga! I shoudl try some of those mini-panels myself.

I love manga, and I've just realised I havent done anywhere near enough of them. So here's rectifying that, with Yosane, my main manga character. It's still in very preliminary stage, so more messiness!! w00t!

Yosane: "Hmm, four... an unlucky number indeed."
